These terms apply when you hire Three Crowns Electric LLC ("Three Crowns Electric," "we," "us," or "our") for electrical work, or when you use our website at threecrownselectric.com. By booking a job or submitting a request through our site, you agree to what's below.
Services Provided
Three Crowns Electric is a licensed Colorado electrical contractor. We perform residential and commercial electrical work including panel upgrades, repairs, EV charger installation, generator installation, lighting, and related services across 19 towns in Northern Colorado. All work is performed by salaried electricians under our Colorado state electrical contractor license.
Estimates and Quotes
Estimates are free. Written quotes are itemized and state the full cost of the job — materials, labor, permit fees where applicable — before we start. You decide whether to move forward. You are not obligated to hire us after receiving an estimate.
Once accepted in writing, the quoted price is the ceiling. If we find we need to change the scope of the job (additional work, unexpected conditions, hidden damage), we will stop work and contact you for approval before proceeding. No change orders without your sign-off.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. For jobs over a defined threshold, we may require a deposit (typically 50%) to order materials before work begins. The balance is due upon completion.
We accept check, credit card, and ACH transfer. Financing is available for larger jobs — ask us about terms. Invoices more than 30 days past due may accrue interest at the maximum rate allowed by Colorado law, and unpaid balances may result in a mechanic's lien against the property.
Warranty
Every job carries a 2-year written warranty on parts we installed and labor we performed. If something we touched fails within two years under normal use, we return and fix it at no additional charge. Where possible, we send the same electrician who did the original install.
We also back our estimates with a profit-back guarantee: if we go over the quoted timeline or over the quoted budget on our end, you receive 50% of our profit on that job back in writing. The guarantee does not apply to scope you add mid-job, hidden damage that you approve addressing, or delays caused by circumstances outside our control (permit office delays, utility company scheduling, customer unavailability).

Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe, reasonable access to the work area on scheduled appointment dates
- Disclose known electrical issues, prior repairs, or permit history that could affect the job
- Pay invoices according to the terms on the written estimate or invoice
- Notify us promptly of any issue with work we performed so we can address it under warranty
Limitation of Liability
Three Crowns Electric carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our liability for any claim related to our work is limited to the amount paid for that specific job, except where prohibited by Colorado law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (such as spoiled food during a power outage, lost business revenue, or damage from pre-existing conditions we were not hired to address).

Pricing examples, service descriptions, and availability may change. Nothing on the website constitutes a binding offer until you receive a written quote from us.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from work we performed or your use of this website will be resolved in the courts of Weld County, Colorado, unless both parties agree in writing to another venue or to mediation.
